OSTEOSARCOMA, A DEVASTATING DIAGNOSTIC FOR PET OWNERS AND VETS

Osteosarcoma is the most common type of bone cancer in dogs. Amputation and/or chemotherapy remains the mainstay of treatment. However, it is not always feasible.

Cementoplasty with BIOCERA-VET® Osteosarcoma provides a palliative solution, improving the quality of life of the patient suffering from osteosarcoma.

Percutaneous injection of the cement into lytic bone increases its mechanical strength, reduces pain and the risk of pathological fractures, and thus provides a minimally invasive, low-cost and clinically valuable alternative to amputation.
